Cell Theory.
"The modern tenets of the
Cell Theory include:
1. all known living things are made up of cells.
2. The cell is structural & functional unit of all living things.
3. All cells come from pre-existing cells by division. (Spontaneous Generation
does not occur.)
4. Cells contain hereditary information which is passed from cell to cell
during cell division.
5. All cells are basically the same in chemical composition.
6. All energy flow (metabolism & biochemistry) of life occurs within cells."

With this said let us discuss, to understand, cells.
If a cell is the basic unit of life and energy then all living things must have them. Everything on the planet has millions and millions of cells working together to create a system of life. Let's take this a step further.
For simplicity's sake, let's look
at ants. Although they, themselves, are comprised of millions of cells, they
are cells themselves within the larger organism which is their colony. Now
follow me here, each colony is then its own cell within the organism that
is the "ant world." Now this example may be too simple let's now
apply this to humans.
Each human is made up of millions of cells, each human is a cell unto itself
within the organism that is their community, each community is a cell unto
itself within the organism that is the state, country, planet, solar system,
galaxy, etc., etc. This is theoretical however, but is rooted firmly in cell
theory. Let us define humanity within the rules of cell theory to prove this
point.
1. All known living things are made up of cells. All humans are made up of cells, and all communities are made up of humans, as well as other organisms. (And since we are calling communities organisms, the organizations and companies and traffic devices and telephones are all part of this community and all apply at this point.) Everything works together to create a "living thing," a community.
2. The cell is structural & functional unit of all living things. This is saying that every cell "brings something to the table," much like everything in our society. Every person, animal, radio, flyer, automobile, anything, adds or subtracts something from society, much like cells.
3. All cells come from pre-existing cells by division. (Spontaneous Generation does not occur.) Now we all know that humans do not divide into two separate humans, but humans on the same hand do not just appear out of thin air. Humans create humans and a human is created by cell division within itself. Humans also create non-living things, and structures within nature create rocks and other geographic formations. Everything has an origin based in the "community" it is from.
4. Cells contain hereditary information which is passed from cell to cell during cell division. Cells "learn" what to do from the cells before it, much like humans learn from humans before them. Communication is the passing of knowledge.
5. All cells are basically the same in chemical composition. "The basis of Evolution is genetic mutations. Mutations in DNA results in slight differences between organisms, and leads to the diversity of life on Earth. Over the years, scientists have gathered more than enough evidence to prove that all existing life on Earth today originated from a single organism. Although this may be hard to believe, all living things on Earth share a common ancestor. Oak tree and worm, bird and dolphin, bacteria and human...we're all related to each other." {From- http://flysci.com/evolution/index.asp} Humans are roughly 99% the same genetic material as any other animal on the globe. And all living objects are comprised of similar atomic material as well. We are all carbon based life forms.
6. All energy flow (metabolism & biochemistry) of life occurs within cells. Humans and other living organisms use the energy flow from their cells to create energy within their communities. People create businesses, economies boom. People invent transportation, not energy can move to different places and so on and so forth.
Another thing about cells is that once they perform their task, they die off, making way for new cells to perform their task. (i.e. skin cells come the skin's surface, then die in a continuous cycle.) This is also important to keep in mind.
